Install note
After download, unzip the archive (or use the DMG), drag FileNest.app to Applications, then open from Launchpad. On first launch, macOS may ask you to allow the app in Privacy & Security settings.
Download FileNest v0.1.3. If you're not sure which chip you have, check About This Mac.
After download, unzip the archive and move the app into Applications. If macOS blocks the first launch, allow it in Privacy & Security.

Folder library — favorites, search, and grid layout
First public release of FileNest.
Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) or Intel — check About This Mac → Chip / Processor. Download the matching .zip, unzip, and open FileNest.app.
All folders, tags, and settings are saved locally on your Mac as JSON. FileNest does not require login and does not sync to the cloud.
Finder is great for browsing any path. FileNest keeps the folders you care about in one place — tagged, searchable, and reachable from the window or menu bar.
FileNest targets macOS 13 Ventura and later.
